Tebuconazole

Tebuconazole is an organic compound with the molecular formula C16H22ClN3O. It is an efficient, broad-spectrum, and internally absorbable triazole fungicide with three major functions: protection, treatment, and eradication. It has a wide spectrum of fungicides and a long shelf life. Like all triazole fungicides, tebuconazole can inhibit the biosynthesis of ergosterol in fungi.

The period from sowing in autumn to overwintering is a critical period for the infection of wheat stem rot pathogens. Seed coating or seed mixing treatment is the key to effectively preventing the disease. In the absence of registered pesticides, combined with the prevention of other wheat diseases, seed treatment suspension agents such as tebuconazole can be used to coat or mix wheat seeds to prevent the occurrence of wheat stem rot.
