1. Analysis on PVC import volume in the first half of 2022
(1) Analysis on import volume and price: According to the latest statistical data, the total import volume for the year 2022 is 362,200 tons, which is a decrease of 36,700 tons compared to last year.
(2) Analysis on the Import Source Countries: According to the latest statistical data, from January to May in 2022, China’s total import of PVC from Chinese Taiwan was 69,685.043 tons, accounting for 57.91% of the total import volume. China imported 36,491.511 tons from Japan, accounting for 30.33% of the total import volume, and imported 6695.914 ton from the USA, accounting for 5.56% of the total import volume.
2. Analysis on the PVC export volume and price in 2022
(1)Analysis on Export volume and price: According to the latest statistical data, the total export volume of PVC from January to Mary in 2022 was 101.89 tons, an increase of 4.62 tons compared with the previous year, with a growth rate of 4.75%. This increase of export price has rose dramatically.
(2)Analysis of export destination countries: According to the latest statistical data, from January to May, China's PVC exports to India were 306237.83 tons, accounting for 30.06% of the total export volume. Exports to Vietnam was 100209.31 tons, accounting for 9.84% of the total export volume. Exports to Turkey was 59700.20 tons, accounting for 5.86% of the total export volume.
