With the resumption of work and production of major industrial enterprises and the fact that most areas in the north are still in the heating period, there is a strong demand for coal. As an important coal supply guarantee base in the country, Inner Mongolia has fully developed its capacity to guarantee the supply, with the planned annual coal output of 1.25 billion tons.

In 2022, Inner Mongolia will achieve 1.22 billion tons of coal output and 945 million tons of coal supply guarantee, effectively guaranteeing the coal demand of 29 provinces, regions and cities across the country. This year, the whole region will speed up the formalities for nuclear coal mines with increased capacity approved by the state, fully promote the completion and production of coal mines under construction, activate the idle resources of coal mines, stabilize the total capacity of coal mines under production at more than 1.3 billion tons, and ensure the coal demand of more than two-thirds of the provinces in the country.
