LYDD of Guolian Signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement with South Africa Vanmag Mining Company
On April 19, the press conference of the "China Vanadium-Titanium Industry Development Report (2024)" was successfully held in Beijing. During the period, Liu Yisong, Senior Vice President of LYDD and head of the titanium dioxide/carbon black industry chain, and Hu Yanjun, General Manager of Vanmag Mining Company in South Africa, signed a strategic cooperation agreement based on the direction of multi-dimensional cooperation.
Vanmag vanadium-titanium magnetite covers an area of 69 square kilometres, and the mining area is flat, strategically located with huge reserves and easy to mine.
As the first African country to sign the "Belt and Road" intergovernmental cooperation document with China, South Africa has very close trade contacts with China. South Africa is rich in metal mineral resources and is the largest iron ore resource country in Africa, and most of the iron ore is exported to China and other destinations by sea through the Gulf of Saldania Port.
The two sides had a full exchange around the China-South Africa cross-border e-commerce trading platform. The two sides expressed that they will strengthen cooperation in key areas such as metal mineral processing, digital logistics, trade and investment, agricultural product processing, energy and resources, finance, digital economy, science and technology, and green development, and build a model of international cross-border digital platform cooperation based on the "Belt and Road" initiative and the "economic reconstruction and recovery plan".
Based on the signing of the strategic cooperation between the two parties, LYDD and Vanmag Mining Company of South Africa jointly realize that the two sides have extensive complementary advantages in the field of industrial Internet platform development and industrial digital ecological construction, and the two sides will give full play to their own industrial operation advantages and resource precipitation, reduce costs and increase efficiency for related enterprises through cross-border digital transactions, cross-border digital supply chain construction, and global industrial big data services, help improve the collaborative efficiency of the global industrial chain, and help build a "Belt and Road" community with a shared future for China-Africa cooperation.
