Zhejiang double wings go hand in hand to enhance the global radiation force of the port

According to the news released at the Zhejiang Province "15th Five-Year Plan" High-Level Open and Strong Province Construction Planning Press Conference on August 20, during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, Zhejiang will focus on coordinated efforts in sea, land, and air, with simultaneous upgrades in software and hardware, accelerating the construction of a modern transportation and logistics system that is smooth internally and connected globally. By 2030, the number of international container shipping routes at Ningbo-Zhoushan Port will exceed 270.

The "Zhejiang Province '15th Five-Year Plan' High-Level Open and Strong Province Construction Plan" has been recently issued. A relevant official from the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Transportation introduced that transportation and logistics are crucial for building a high-level open and strong province. Over the next five years, Zhejiang will accelerate the construction of a world-class strong port, continuously enhance the level of the international shipping hub, and, with the Ningbo-Zhoushan Port international hub seaport as the core, build the northern Jiaxing Yangtze River Delta sea-river intermodal hub port, promote the development of container business around Yueqing Bay in the southern wing, and continuously enhance the global reach of the port and the level of shipping services.

During the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, Zhejiang will accelerate the enhancement of the international land port's level, strengthen the collection and distribution capacity of the Jinhua (Yiwu) China-Europe Railway Express assembly center, deepen the market-oriented operation reform of the China-Europe Railway Express, promote the development of international road freight, encourage the development of TIR (International Road Transport) and other international road transport, and enhance the resilience of logistics channels.

Over the next five years, Zhejiang will accelerate the construction of a strong civil aviation province, enhance the gateway international aviation hub function of Hangzhou Airport, build Jiaxing into a world-class international aviation logistics hub, and improve the international aviation hub functions of Ningbo and Wenzhou for specific regions. It will also accelerate the expansion of the international route network, innovate aviation logistics service models, and improve customs clearance facilitation. By 2030, the province will have 70 international all-cargo flight routes, an international air cargo and mail throughput of 640,000 tons, and 8 million international air passengers.
