Changjiang Maritime Safety Administration's First "Changhai Cup" Live Media Contest Held
Recently, the first "Changhai Cup" Integrated Media Live Streaming Competition of the Yangtze River Maritime Safety Administration concluded successfully in Wuhan, Hubei. Fourteen teams and 42 participants from the entire system used live streaming as a medium and cameras as a carrier to present a professional and maritime-themed integrated media feast.
This competition is a new specialized track of the 17th "Changhai Cup" Comprehensive Skills Competition for Employees. It aims to thoroughly implement the Ministry of Transport's work plan to strengthen the construction of industry publicity teams and innovate publicity methods. It is also the first full-process integrated media skills competition held by the Yangtze River Maritime Safety Administration for its system-wide publicity backbone.
The entire competition focused on the theme of "Modernizing Yangtze River Maritime Construction" and showcased three distinct characteristics: excellent topics, excellent presentation, and excellent results. All the competition content originated from frontline service practices, simplifying professional operations and vividly narrating frontline stories. This not only demonstrated real skills and solid capabilities but also further enhanced the public awareness and recognition of the Yangtze River Maritime Safety Administration.
The live broadcast segment, which began on August 12, centered on the theme of "safety." It showcased real-life practices of maritime personnel providing green shipping services and water safety education. The related live streams were simultaneously broadcast on four platforms: Xinhua News Agency, Xinhuanet (Xinhua Cloud Live), Changjiang Shipping Kuaishou account, Changjiang Maritime Video account, and China Water Transport News Video account, with a total viewership of nearly 490,000.
The style showcase segment, held from August 17 to 18, included two modules: "On-site Video Production" and "Anchor Style Showcase." It tested participants' comprehensive skills in new media creation, on-site expression, and team collaboration. The event highlighted the team's spirit and integrated media creation skills in various forms, presenting the vitality and charm of the Yangtze River Maritime publicity team from multiple perspectives.
After several rounds of intense competition, the Wuhan Maritime Safety Administration won the team first prize. The Yichang Maritime Safety Administration and the Yangtze River Communication Administration won the team second prize, while the Yangtze River Pilot Center, Huangshi Maritime Safety Administration, and Jiujiang Maritime Safety Administration won the team third prize. The competition also awarded three individual special prizes: the Style Anchor Award, the Creative Cinematography Award, and the Best Director Award.
Next, the Yangtze River Maritime Safety Administration will take this competition as an opportunity to unite development forces, innovate forms, and work with dedication and emotion. It aims to build a "broad" Changhai publicity matrix, tell "deep" and exciting stories of the Yangtze River Maritime, and voice the "high" aspirations of the inland waterway shipping era. This will create a positive atmosphere and provide strong support for accelerating the construction of a modernized Yangtze River Maritime system.
