The South China Sea Rescue Bureau's “Nanhai Jiu 115” vessel successfully concluded its emergency rescue rotation at the Nansha Islands, marking the 33rd routine mission completion. During its return, the vessel conducted a critical rescue operation, saving 36 foreign crew members from a sunken Vietnamese ship, with a total of 47 people rescued this mission. Key training included ship-aircraft coordination, precision operations in challenging conditions, and 24/7 emergency readiness, reflecting China's commitment to sustainable maritime safety. Since 2018, over 1015 personnel, 145 crisis responses, and the safeguarding of 819 lives highlight China's expanding emergency response capabilities in the South China Sea.
